Setting the "From Address" in Workbench
When sending purchase orders through Workbench, it's important to configure the "From Address" to ensure accurate and professional communication with suppliers. By default, Workbench utilizes the control parameter "Send Email From" to determine the sender's email address. However, users also have the option to define a specific "Email Sender ID" if desired.
To configure the "From Address" using the default option:
Access the Workbench Control Parameters.
Locate the "Send Email From" control parameter.
Specify the desired email address to be used as the sender's address.
Save the changes to update the configuration.
Configuring the "Email Sender ID" for Global Settings

In Workbench, users can configure the "Email Sender ID" for person-specific settings, providing further customization for purchase order communications. This feature allows individuals to define their own sender's email address, ensuring a personalized touch in their interactions with suppliers.
Different Parameter: "SMTP ReplyTo Email Address" in the MDE
For users utilizing the MDE in Workbench, a different parameter called "SMTP ReplyTo Email Address" is used to configure the reply-to email address for purchase orders.
