Setting the "From Address" in Workbench


When sending AR Invoices through Workbench, it's important to configure the "From Address" to ensure accurate and professional communication with clients. By default, Workbench utilizes the control parameter "Send Email From" to determine the sender's email address. However, users also have the option to define a specific "Email Sender ID" if desired.


To configure the "From Address" using the default option:


Access the Workbench Control Parameters.

Locate the "Send Email From" control parameter.

Specify the desired email address to be used as the sender's address.

Save the changes to update the configuration.


Configuring the "Email Sender ID" for Global Settings


The From Address can be configured using Global Setting: 


  1. In Workbench navigate to Administration then General Config.
  2. Click Settings to view the list of settings. 
  3. In the filter option set the Description =  Email. 
  4. Click the Edit option in the Email Sender ID
  5. Set the global value with the generic person's ID and Save.

In Workbench, users can configure the "Email Sender ID" for person-specific settings, providing further customization for purchase order communications. This feature allows individuals to define their own sender's email address, ensuring a personalized touch in their interactions with suppliers.
