"Out of memory" on a mobile device usually means that your device doesn’t have enough RAM (Random Access Memory) available to run or load the app properly. Here's what might be going on:

What Causes "Out of Memory" Errors?

  1. Too Many Apps Running
Your device might have too many apps open in the background, using up the available memory.

  2. Large or Demanding App
The app you're trying to open may require more memory than your device has available — especially if it's a heavy app (e.g. games, video editing, or some work tools).

  3. Low RAM Device
Some older or budget devices come with limited RAM (e.g. 2GB or 3GB), which fills up quickly.

  4. Memory Leaks
Occasionally, apps don’t release memory properly (known as a memory leak), which causes the system to think it’s out of memory even if not many apps are open.

  5. Corrupted App Data
Sometimes app data or cache becomes corrupted and causes excessive memory usage when the app tries to load.

What You Can Do?

  1. Close Background Apps

    • Tap the "Recent Apps" button and swipe away unused apps.

  2. Restart Your Device

    • A fresh reboot clears memory and can help resolve temporary memory issues.

  3. Clear App Cache

  4. Update the App and System

  5. Uninstall and Reinstall the App

    • This clears out corrupt data that might be hogging memory.

  6. Free Up Space

    • While this relates more to storage, not RAM, a nearly full device can still contribute to performance issues.

  7. Avoid Using Memory-Heavy Apps Together

    • Especially on low-RAM devices, try running one demanding app at a time.

If You Still See the Error:

If your device has 2GB RAM or less, this may just be a hardware limit — you might need to be selective with app usage. and uninstall apps or data not in use to free up the capacity on your device.
