Updating an Upvise User's Email Address


If an Upvise user needs their email address changed, you must update this in both Workbench and Upvise to maintain access. Follow the steps below to ensure a smooth transition:


Step 1: Update the Email Address in Workbench

  1. Navigate to the Workbench User section.

  2. Edit the user's email address.

  3. Click Save to update the user information in Workbench. 

Step 2: Update the Email Address in Upvise

  1. Navigate to the Upvise Users List.

  2. Select the relevant Upvise user.

  3. Edit the user details.

  4. Update the email address to match the exact email entered in Workbench.

  5. Click Save to apply the changes. 

Step 3: Sync Workbench with Upvise

  1. Go back to the Workbench Upvise Integration page.

  2. Click Export/Import to trigger a sync between Workbench and Upvise. 

Step 4: Reset User Password in Upvise

  1. After the sync is complete, navigate back to the user in Upvise.

  2. Reset the user’s password.

Step 5: Final User Login Verification

  1. Request the user to log out of Upvise.

  2. Ask the user to log back in using the new email address and updated password.
