Upvise Plant Extension Fields in Workbench can be synced to Upvise to provide visibility of this data to your upvise users.
Sync Options for Extension Fields
Depending on the requirements of the extension field, you can configure this in one of two ways.
Option 1: Global Extension Fields that are relevant to All Equipment
If the Extension Field should apply to all plant items, add it to the Generic Upvise Extension View in Workbench:
This global view applies to every piece of equipment, regardless of plant group.
Fields added here will sync to all items automatically.
Fields here are not visible in the plant item in workbench unless they have been added to another workbench View.
Option 2: Group-Specific Extension Fields (Selected Equipment Only)
If the Extension Field only applies to one or more specific plant groups:
A dedicated Extension View must exist for each plant group.
The Group needs to be specified via the below
Criteria = Plant Group : JobSupplement.PlantGroupID
Criteria Value = Plant Group
Add the field to each relevant group’s view and SAVE the view.
Only items in the specified groups will sync the field to Upvise.
Fields here will also display on the plant items in workbench.
? Tip: If the field isn’t added to the correct view, it won’t sync—even if it’s configured in an alternative view elsewhere.
How to Sync Extension Fields to Upvise
Once you’ve added the Extension Fields to the appropriate view(s):
Navigate to the Upvise Integration screen.
Select the Finco where the relevant plant items are located.
Click Manual Data Sync.
Click Plant Extension Fields.
Click Sync.
✅ This process will push the configured Extension Fields to Upvise for the plant groups defined in the views.
After the sync, log in to Upvise to confirm the fields have been applied as expected.
