Upvise allows administrators to control the availability of form templates using the Template Status: Disabled indicator.
What Does “Disabled” Mean?
Disabled templates cannot be used to submit new forms in Upvise.
Existing forms created from disabled templates remain accessible. These can still be viewed in the Forms module or via any linked record.
When to Disable a Template
A common use case is when you’ve created a new version of a form template that replaces an older one. Disabling the old template ensures end users cannot submit forms against it in error, reducing data entry mistakes and standardising processes.
Steps to Disable a Template
To disable a template, you must be a system administrator.
Open the Forms module.
Go to Templates.
Select the template you want to disable.
Navigate to the Info section.
Tick the Disabled checkbox.
The template will now be marked as disabled and unavailable for new submissions.
