How to enable the form PDF Import?
To enable form PDF syncing, follow these steps:
Configure Database Settings in upvise:
Navigate to the Forms web app: Forms> Options > General.
Enable: Keep a temporary copy of submitted PDF in API Store
Understand PDF Import Rules:
PDFs are generated automatically:
For forms without workflows: Upon submission, when the form is at "submitted" status.
For forms with workflows: When they reach the final state.
PDFs remain on the API server for 7 days before automatic deletion.
Retry Mechanism:
If a PDF import fails, it will be queued for a single retry during the next scheduled sync.
Note: A backdated sync in Workbench does not trigger a re-import.
Reset and Resubmit:
Resetting a form to draft and resubmitting it generates a new PDF in the API.
